Early Achievers Glebe was opened in July 2008 and being set amongst two heritage properties creates a natural appeal with loads of charm and character. The centre caters for 90 children, divided among 5 rooms.

There is a drop-off/pick-up car park behind the centre.

Opening hours

The opening hours of the centre are from 7.30am-6.00pm

Different Rooms within the centre

In order to facilitate growth and development and a rate that is appropriate for each child, the centre is divided into 5 rooms to cater for different age groups.

Nursery Building

Children aged between 6 weeks and 18 months have their own building and outside play area that gives them their own space to grow and develop. The staff use a number of mediums to communicate to parents the activities of the day. Individual day sheets are completed for each child providing detailed information about each child's day.

Nursery - Goldfish Room

This room caters for up to 20 children between the ages of 6 weeks and 18 months.

Infants - Starfish Room

This room caters for up to 16 children between the ages of 18 months and 2 years.

Toddlers - Seahorse room

This room caters for up to 24 children between the ages of 2 and 3 years

Pre schoolers - Dolphin Room

This room caters for up to 35 children between the ages 3 and 5 years.

Before and After School Care

St Jame's - Glebe

Before and after school care is provided for students from St James' Catholic school.

Before school care is offered at the child care centre from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.

After school care is offered from 3:00 to 6:00 pm on the premises of St James allowing the children to utilise the playground and a classroom.

Bookings for Before and After school care can be made on a permanent or casual basis.
