Early Achievers

Early Achievers caters for children between the ages of 6 weeks to 6 years.

We are open for 50 weeks of the year, closing for public holidays and over
the Christmas period.

We are registered with the National Childcare and Accreditation Council and
licensed by the Department of Community Services

Centre Philosophy

At Early Achievers we believe in developing the child as a whole, encouraging them to be independent, to make choices and try new experiences.

Each child is viewed as an individual with unique needs, interests and strengths. In their own time every child will achieve milestones in their learning and development.

We acknowledge and respect the many differing social and cultural backgrounds of the children in our care.

Our centres aim to provide a curriculum that depicts and involves children’s needs and interests and is developed in conjunction with families. We will focus on each child in observing their interests and further developing and encouraging their learning.

We believe that children have a right to feel safe and secure in their environments.

What we provide

Meals

We provide five meals a day
  • Breakfast
  • Morning tea
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon tea
  • Late afternoon tea
All meals are prepared on site in our kitchens. There is a 6-week rotation menu, providing children with a variety of nutritious foods.

Security

Our centres are equiped with a security system allowing parents to enter and exit the centre at any time. This system gives you peace of mind that your children are in a safe environment.

High Staff Ratios

Our staff are recruited according to their qualifications but also for displaying high quality attributes, including enthusiasm, dedication to their work and a high developed sense of care and nurturing. Additionally, Early Achievers have staff numbers that are higher then those required by government regulations, particularly for children aged between 6 weeks to 18 months.

Commitment to High Quality Care

Early Achievers is registered with the National Childcare Accreditation Council (NCAC). This council aims to support families in finding and selecting high quality care for their children. The Council sets standards for child care centres, to ensure children’s health and safety and to promote play, learning and development through positive experiences and interactions.

Parents

At Early Achievers, we aim to ensure that all families feel welcome and become a part of our centre. Communication with families occurs in different ways including:
  • Daily communication diary
  • Child Portfolios
  • Room Newsletters
  • Centre Newsletters
  • Parent Committee Group
Our centre provides an “open door” policy so that families can drop in and visit any time.
